I have been designing, building and installing custom and bespoke cabinetry since 1987. We strive to stay on the leading edge of design and have set the highest standards by doing it ourselves. We are big enough to be building a small showroom. (By Appointment only) but small enough to deliver very personal service. You get more than just a team dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon. We specialise in built in cabinetry for kitchens, bedrooms, home offices, studies and more, we will also build entertainment areas. Do you have a showroom?
Not at present, In order to offer the best possible pricing structure, reducing overhead is important. We bring samples to your home and do 3d drawings to give you a better idea of what to expect.
Do you design tiny kitchens and kitchenettes?
Yes we design any size kitchen, we create a 3d drawing for every project we quote on.
Frequently asked questions about counter tops
Do you do 3D Design and free quotes?
We do a 3d design with every kitchen or built in cupboard design to make it easier for our clients to visualise the project. The free 3d design includes no dimensions.
What materials do you use for counter tops.
If it's available we will get it installed. Currently we supply Formica, Granite, Man made stone and Solid Wood. If you are willing to spend more than 4 weeks without a kitchen, we will do concrete as well.
Are granite tops the best material for kitchen counter tops?
Granite is hard wearing and looks pretty, The major disadvantages are that it is not repairable and has weak points where any cutouts for sinks and hobs are inserted. It also destroys mountains harvesting this non renewable resource.
What is the best material for counter tops?
If you are on a budget Formica is the go to option. We have a method of water proofing Formica tops so that they will last as long as any other material except Solid Wood which is the best option if you are not limited by finances.
Why is wood the best material for counter tops?
Wood has a few major advantages, it is a renewable resource, to get more trees just plant seeds. It is easy to repair, and sand paper can remove any scuff marks. I have seen 400 year old wooden furniture, not much else lasts that long.
Do you fit replacement counter tops?
We will replace just the top around your sink with a matching top if available or replace all tops if that is what you desire.

What materials do you use for cabinet doors?
We are averse to wrap doors for some very good reasons, but will do Melamine, solid wood and MDF(Supawood) in spray painted or handpainted finishes.
Frequently asked questions about hardware
What drawer runners do you use?
We exclusively use the extendible runners with the bearings as they carry more weight and outlast the roller type runners everytime. It adds a little to the cost but is worth it every time.
What hinges do you use?
We exclusively use pothole type hinges and follow the specifications regarding quantity of hinges per door slavishly. where 3 hinges are required we never save a few Rand and use only two.
